Denver is the capitol city of the state of Colorado, nestled just east of the Rocky Mountains. Denver today vibrates with energy and economic well being. Long established attractions such as the Denver Museum of Natural History, the Denver Zoo, the Colorado History Museum, and the Denver Art Museum have recently been joined by new and novel offerings such as the Butterfly Pavilion and the Ocean Journey aquarium. Colorado also offers numerous institutions of higher education, including the University of Colorado, the University of Denver, and Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
