John Danyliw Honored with the Oliver Frascona Lifetime Achievement Award at 2026 Denver Metro Association of Realtors Excellence Awards
Denver, Colorado — On Thursday evening, industry icon John Danyliw was presented with the Oliver Frascona Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 Denver Metro Association of Realtors (DMAR) Excellence Awards. The honor was announced before a sold-out audience of 600 top producing real estate professionals at the Denver event.
The Oliver Frascona Lifetime Achievement Award is one of DMAR’s most prestigious honors, recognizing long-term impact, leadership, service, and unwavering commitment to the real estate profession in the Denver metro area. Recipients are individuals whose careers have significantly contributed to the strength, professionalism, and ethical standards of the local real estate community.
Danyliw, Broker Owner at Danyliw & Associates, has been a cornerstone of the Colorado real estate industry for more than 55 years. In recognizing him with the Oliver Frascona Award, DMAR cited a career built on education, ethics, leadership, and service — hallmarks that have defined both his professional journey and his influence on peers throughout the state.
A lifelong advocate for professional development, Danyliw prioritized education at his firm long before formal continuing education requirements existed. He regularly incorporated meaningful learning into weekly sales meetings and was among the first in Colorado to earn the Certified Residential Broker designation, pursuing coursework out-of-state when local offerings were unavailable.
Beyond his brokerage, Danyliw’s impact has reached across association leadership and industry standards. He taught pre-licensing courses, served in leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels, and dedicated years to Professional Standards work. His service includes chairing more than one hundred ethics and arbitration hearings with JCAR, DMAR, and the Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR). He is a past President of the Jefferson County Association of Realtors®, a former Director for both CAR and the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and a two-time recipient of NAR’s Omega Tau Rho Award.
“John’s influence on Colorado real estate is immeasurable. His passion for education and ethical practice has helped shape generations of Realtors and strengthened the fabric of our profession,” said DMAR leadership in announcing the award.
